Who are the Friends?
The Friends of the Museum were set up as a pressure group in 1970 to help establish the Museum.

The Friends remain active today as a voluntary organisation providing the opportunity for people to support the aims of the Museum which are to preserve material relating to the story of the Black Country and to communicate that story to the widest possible audience.

Friends also have the opportunity to assist the Museum in practical ways.

The Friends hold regular social meetings with talks on a wide range of subjects.

Membership is open to all.
Location is not important either - many Friends live outside the Black Country and are kept informed through 'CONTACT' the magazine published by the Friends and posted to you as part of your subscription.
